Burning Mind

Die Arbeit besteht aus einem Netz dreidimensionaler weißer Papierkörper die vor der weißen Wand zu schweben scheinen. Das farbige Licht entsteht durch Reflexion der nicht sichtbaren farbigen Flächen auf der Rückseite des Netzes. Konkrete Farbflächen werden zu immateriellem Licht. Form und Farbe stellen eine eingefrorene Metapher für die inneren Vorgänge des Denkens und Fühlens dar.

This piece of art consists of a net of three-dimensional white lines of paper which seem to float in front of the white wall. There is a floating, because coloured light in glowing variations of red, yellow and green cut any connection between the wall and the artwork. This colourful light has its origin in the reflection of the nonvisible coloured surfaces at the backside of the net. Real coloured surfaces of paper change into immaterial light. Form and colour are a frozen metaphor for the dynamism of inner movements of thinking and feeling.
