Die Objekthafte Großplastik einer sitzenden Figur, die aus Staubsaugerbeuteln verschiedenster Größen und Formate zusammengesetzt ist, ist nicht nur buchstäblich „gebeutelt“, sondern vermittelt dies auch durch ihre Körperhaltung und den Gesichtsausdruck, den Schmid subtil herausarbeitet.

The object-like, large sculpture of a sitting figure made up of vacuum cleaner bags of the most varied sizes and formats, is not just literally “tormented“ (the German word for “tormented” in the title can humorously be interpreted as ”made of bags”), but shows it by its posture and the expression in his face subtly worked out.
