Nach der Dekonstruktion von Grafiken und Karten aus alten Geschichts-, Erdkunde- und Wirtschaftsbüchern werden die Elemente aus ihrem Kontext genommen und zum Rohmaterial für das Kunstwerk. Aus ihnen entstehen imaginärer Städte („Utopien“), neue urbane Konstellationen und Netzwerke.
This “Urban Constellation” is part of the “Utopias” series. After deconstructing diagrams and maps from old history, geography, and economics books, the graphic elements are taken out of their context and become the raw material needed for the artwork. They form imaginary cities (“Utopias”), new urban constellations and networks.
